Fashion Of 4

While jamming to Party In The USA, I've been thinking about "patriotic" fashion.

The Union Jack trend seems to be fizzling away, and as the neo-bohemian trend -along with all those hipsters- begin slowly invading our wardrobes, I've been stumbling upon more and more of these:

Jeffrey Campbell shoes

Which is fine by me, I suppose. As long as I don't see a Greek flag plastered on a pair of Lita ankle boots and have some "fashion expert" exclaim that it's art. I'm alright seeing the flag-emblem of capitalism on a commercial product. I just don't appreciate a country's symbol representing something as petty as a pair of Jeffrey Campbells.

Then again, I wouldn't be saying so if I were a hard-core redneck with a large collection of country CDs.
Or a patriot of any origin, for that matter.
