First World Problems

Being the cool, hip teenager that I am, I enjoy spending much of time online on the Cheezburger Network.

You know, the place where people virtually gather and worship Harry Potter (i.e. Emma Watson), Doctor Who (i.e. David Tennant), Star Wars, Star Trek, Zooey Deschanel and Johnny Depp, while bitching about Twilight, Justin Bieber, Disney, Rebecca Black, The Jersey Shore and plenty of other extremely important problems of our society.

To be frank, I was never one to let something go by without forming an opinion about it. Which means, if I disagree with something, I will have an internal fight with myself and proceed to mentally rehearse all my amazing comebacks to the douchebags who have a different opinion.

So, this post is pretty much me "vomiting" all that stuff on the internet, where these deep thoughts belong.

Frankly, all this rage, hate and contempt against a 14 year-old girl makes no sense. I mean, alright people, Rebecca Black isn't talented. She isn't completely horrible, but she's not exactly pleasant to listen to, Autotune or not. But, Friiiday is my anthem, my life's theme song, the soundtrack of my autobiography and I am going to defend it and the nasal sounding girl that sings it.

We live in a world plagued by war, hunger, immorality, AIDS, the downfall of human values, and yet our biggest problems include a bunch of real-life Oompa Loompas, a rich do-nothing with a big ass, an effeminate teenager, and a girl who can't sing. That, in my humble opinion, makes us look stupid and shallow. I don't care if people are "trolling" or genuinely believe that war is to be compared with Kim Kardashian, as far as importance is concerned; the very thought that something so horrible and ignorant is written in the comment section of some dumb website that deifies an imaginary "doctor" and applauded by others makes me sick.

Oh well, boo hoo you poor things, you are too fat to shove your hand in the Pringles container, a 14 year-old with no talent interrupted your philosophical ponderings regarding how "HAWT, ZOMG!!!1" Emma Watson is. My heart bleeds for you.
